On September 23, 2023, the second national "Red Industrial Culture Research" academic Forum was held in NPU, which is an important academic activity for the 85th anniversary of NPU. From Peking University, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Beijing Normal University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Wuhan University, Shanghai University, Northwestern Polytechnical University and more than 50 universities, research institutions, as well as ’Cultural Review' magazine, science press and other related fields of experts、scholars、doctoral and master's students more than 120 people gathered to participate in the forum.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the spiritual lineage of China's red industry, explore the historical context of the red industry, analyze the cultural resources of the red industry, and discuss the practical logic and future picture of the red industry. The conference showed a strong feature of openness and inclusiveness.

The more important significance of this conference is the establishment of the 'National Red Industrial Culture Research Alliance'. This is of particular significance for guiding young scholars in China to gather their minds in this direction and conduct multidimensional research on 'red industrial culture' from various disciplines, to produce more good results in this field.
