The topic of epidemic prevention and control is an indispensable part in the course of Ideological and Political Theory.In the course of“Principles of Marxism”, we should grasp this opportunity and combine the reality of anti-epidemic to learn Marxist Theory deeply, thoroughly and solidly.Under the guidance of this principle, Teacher Zhang Jing screened, compared, combined and analyzed a large amount of information on the internet, taught the teaching materials in the form of news, and organized the students to carry out the online communication of “News Express”, achieving a better teaching effect.

Since the online teaching, Zhang Jing has been using the form of bilingual teaching.On the one hand, this is for the sake of continuing personal characteristics. On the other hand, it is because the epidemic in China has attracted wide attention all over the world.She believed that in order to treat the epidemic fairly and objectively in a scientific manner, and prevent the influence of negative opinions such as “Conspiracy Theory”, “Human Rights Violation Theory” and “Anti-China Theory”, it was necessary to comprehensively collect relevant news reports and guide students to conduct correct analysis, so the relevant information in the western media was a very important part.She browsed ABC, BBC, CNN, Global News, China Daily and other websites every day, read relevant news, collated, compressed, and rewrote them. Finally,she presented these contents to the students in the form of PPT, and combined with the distinctive characteristics of the times of Marxism such as People, Science and Practice in the “Principles of Marxism”.

 

 

As an ideological and political course, “Principles of Marxism” needed to give full play to students’ autonomy.Therefore, Zhang Jing added “News Express” to the class.At the beginning of each class, a student will share a piece of news he or she has recently paid attention to with everyone online. So far, six students have participated in the sharing.Students’ sharing is voluntary. They will express their willingness to share and communicate with Ms. Zhang about what they want to explain.It can be seen from their sharing that the students have done a very detailed work after class. Their news sensitivity and awareness of political participation are very valuable means of ideological and political education, which also reflect the effectiveness of this course.

 

Since the beginning of this course for three weeks, Zhang Jing’ class has been showing a good state of interaction.The students gave a high recognition and evaluation to bilingual teaching, and showed active participation in “News Express”.Zhang said that she would give full play to her characteristics in future teaching and continue to explore more effective ways of ideological and political education.
