On the afternoon of December 31, Wu Wenchuan (in charge of work), Deputy Secretary of School of Marxism, had a discussion with all the teachers of Department of Principles of Marxism on how to further comprehensively promote the reform of this course based on the reform pilots of “Principles of Marxism” carried out this semester.

First of all, he introduced the latest arrangement of the Ideological and Political Course in our university next semester, and asked everyone to refer to the innovative measures of the reform pilots of “Principles of Marxism” carried out this semester, and discuss how to further comprehensively promote the reform and innovation of this course in the next semester.

During the discussion, everyone has expressed their opinions and offered their suggestions on the course reform.Some teachers suggested that we should focus on the teaching content in the process of reform; some teachers explored specific innovations from the perspective of course content;some teachers discussed how to enhance the attractiveness of this course from the innovation of teaching ideas and methods;some teachers proposed that how to use the platform of MOOC to promote this reform; and some teachers also put forward how to reflect their research expertise, teaching characteristics and special lectures in the reform pilots.

After discussion, everyone agreed that the further reform of the course “Principles of Marxism” would be promoted from the following two aspects at the same time: on the one hand, a collective lesson preparation system should be established to realize resource sharing;on the other hand, the course design should combine the advantages of each teacher and reflect their own characteristics.
